But I've heard games in PS2 that have better versions in Wii, so maybe it's possible that Obscure could do better in that console. The storyline is simple but at the same time, it leaves you open-ended. I also like some of the dialogue because they're clever and witty. I also have a problem with the camera angles, some of which can be a little annoying especially when you're in the middle of a fight.īut I like the two-player scheme, and the fact that each character has their own abilities. The action is okay, with those nifty weapons and all, but the enemies are a bit predictable (meaning, their attacks are, most of the time, similar from the first time you encoutnered them). If this game is vying for a horror award, I would say the locations are not as claustrophobic as that in Silent Hill or Fatal Frame, but compared to the previous Obscure, the game takes you to scary-looking places.
